Soup Kitchen

Sop Kombuis

On almost every corner of our community you will see people seeking employment for the day; these men and women know if they are not helped by 10h00, they won’t have work for the day. That means a day without money, without food.

Ons probeer hierdie nood aanspreek en daarom gee ons elke weeksdag, Maandag tot Vrydag ‘n ete in die vorm van sop en broodjies aan hierdie mense.

Up to 70 people attend our soup kitchen daily from Monday to Friday. Annually we invite these men and women for a sit down. For December 2018 we gave every one of these people a backpack filled with groceries for Christmas.

Pack a Bag

Pak 'n Sak

On a monthly basis we provide a bag of groceries to about 20 families in the South of Johannesburg and to the community. These bags contain Mealie meel; sugar, rice, bully beef, pilchards, tomato and union sauce; beans in tomato sauce.

During December of every year we hand out 500 grocery hampers consisting of fresh vegetables, chicken, groceries and sweet to people in need. These are given to Dinokaneng (aids affected families), seniors in South Hills and to Grandma’s attending to AIDS orphans in squatter camps in the Midvaal area
